XM-2301/2301G Module Card

XM-2301is a single-port 10/100/1000M module card, and XM-2301G is a single-port 1000M module card. Their embedded CPUs provide various testing features. XM-2301/2301G supports generic Transmit/Receive counters for traffic analysis, VLAN tagged frame generation/statistics, and testing function of IEEE 802.3x flow control, QoS, MPLS, and data integrity.

Media Type：

XM-2301：10/100/1000M(UTP): 10/100M Half/Full Duplex. 1000M Full Duplex. N-Way Enable/Disable

XM-2301G：1000M(Mini-GBIC): 1000M Full Duplex. NWay Enable/Disable.

Traffic Generation：

1.) Preamble: 2-16 Bytes.
2.) Frame Length: Fixed, Increment, Decrement, Random. Default Range: 64-1518 bytes. With VLAN Range: 68-1522 bytes.
3.) Data Field: User-Specified Data, All 1’s, 0’s,A’s,5A’s. Byte Increment/Decrement. Word Increment/Decrement.
4.) Inter-frame Gap: Fixed, Random. 10M: 400ns-2.0s. 100M: 40ns-2.0s. 1G: 8ns-2.0s.
5.) Error Generation:10/100M: No CRC, CRC Error, Alignment Error, Collision, IP, Checksum Error, Dribble Bit. 1000M: No CRC, CRC Error, IP Checksum Error.
6.) MAC Source/Destination Address: 48 bits Fixed, Increment, Decrement, Random.
7.) VLAN: VLAN ID/Cos Field: Fix, Increment, Decrement, Random.
8.) IP: Hardware IP Checksum Generation. Source IP and Destination IP Tos, Differv Field: Fixed, Increment, Decrement, Random, Total Length Field Auto Generation.
9.) MPLS: LABEL/Cos/TTL Field: Fixed, Increment, Decrement, Random. 2 Stack Label Max.
10.) Flow Control: Asymmetric. Response to 802.3x Flow Control Frames (Defaulted as Reception).11.) Line Performance: Wire Speed Support.

Traffic Analysis：

1.) Capture Buffer Capacity: 512 packets (2K bytes for each packet).
2.) Capture Mode: After, Before, Event, 8 Packets after Event.
3.) Capture Event: All Condition, CRC Error, DI Error, Serial Number Error, Alignment Error, IP Checksum Error. Trigger 1-4, Any Defined Packet Size.
4.) QoS Testing: Support Up to 4 Priority Queues Testing.
5.) Data Integrity: DUT Packet Flow Data Verification Testing.
6.)
