xta-0808 is a high-speed, low-latency solution for ethernet lan and wan connection, which facilitates the integration of atm into any network cabling system by converting an atm cell to the ethernet packet format, and vice versa. the xta-0808 provides transparent operation of data rates up to 40 mbps in full duplex for each channel.
you can form a 24-channel eodsl co device by integrating three xta-0808 and one 24-port switch controller(such as xte-2402g). xta-0808 adopts utopia interface on a port-to-port basis, which is more cost effective and flexible.

xta-0808 contains eight atm-ethernet converting channels. it supports reversed sssmii interface for ethernet ports and utopia interface for atm circuits, and rfc 2864 ethernet bridging mode is supported. xta-0808 is manufactured on a 0.35-micro process and operates from a 3.3v core power. it is offered in a 128-pin tqfp package.

-reversed sssmii interface on eight 100mbps full duplex ethernet ports

-ieee 802.3x flow control compliant

-downstream memory buffer size up to 16 packets and 8 packets for upstream

-memory segmentation by page, 256 bytes per page.

-3.3v, 0.35 m cmos core

-62.5mhz system frequency

-128 pins tqfp package
